Social Contribution Activities in the Republic of Moldova

In response to the 2022 Russia-Ukraine conflict, a significant number of Ukrainian refugees fled to the neighboring Republic of Moldova, surpassing the number of those who remained in Ukraine.

 

This influx has placed immense strain on Moldova's economy, which is considered one of the poorest countries in Europe.

Moved by this situation, Ken Wada, the CEO of REM, sought and received permission from the Moldovan Embassy to take action.

 

Within a single day, he created a dedicated donation page to support the refugees.

​

To date, over 250 million JPY (about 2 million USD) has been raised and donated to the Moldovan Embassy, providing much-needed aid to the refugees through the embassy's channels.

Involved in the development of medical devices of the General Incorporated Association Medical Innovation Consortium that provides support for the operation and global expansion of Japanese medical equipment.
